Jean-René GERMANIER & Gilles Besse - Cave Jean-René Germanier

The year is 1886, the place Balavaud, a small village in the commune of Vétroz at the heart of the Valais. Urbain Germanier plants his first vines and founds a winery.

Years later, the torch passes to his three sons, Francis, Paul and Charles, who place their wines among the premiers crus, the first growths of the Valais. In 1945, Francis distills the house's first brandy from Williams Pears and the Bon Père Willliam is born.

Today the third generation, enologists Jean-René and Gilles, continue this grand winemaking tradition, with the same spirit of quality so dear to the Germanier family.
